3. Services

We provide compassionate, person-centred care services including live-in care, elderly care, palliative care, respite care, specialist care (including dementia, Parkinson's and stroke recovery support), post-hospital care, companionship, household assistance and other supportive healthcare services. All services are tailored to the individual needs of the client and delivered in accordance with applicable UK regulations and CQC standards.

4. Care Agreements

Any care services we provide are subject to a separate written care agreement entered into between Major Carers and the client (or their authorised representative). That agreement sets out the specific scope, schedule, fees, payment terms, cancellation rights and care plan applicable to the services. Where there is any conflict between these Terms and a signed care agreement, the care agreement prevails.

5. Eligibility and Use of the Website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, the website by any third party. You agree not to:

• use the website in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;

We will use the information you provide to contact you and discuss your needs. A formal care arrangement will only commence once a written care agreement has been signed.

7. Fees and Payment

Fees for our care services are set out in the relevant care agreement provided to each client following an initial assessment. We may revise fees from time to time, with reasonable notice as set out in the care agreement. Invoices are payable within the terms specified on each invoice.

8. Cancellation

Cancellation rights and notice periods are governed by the relevant care agreement. Where a service is cancelled with less notice than required, charges may apply. For consumer clients in the UK, statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply where relevant.

9. Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding the adults in our care and operate strict safeguarding policies in line with UK law and CQC requirements. All our carers are background-checked (including enhanced DBS checks where appropriate), trained and supervised.
